Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) St James’s
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows St James’s
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out St James’s
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing St James’s
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

A beautiful house that has managed to bring back or re-create most of how it was. Would just liked to have seen some more of the background places like the kitchen

Only available on a Sunday. Superb guide introduced the Spencer family and how the house overlooking Green Park was rescued by Lord Rothschild in 1982 with a restoration of the highest standard. The ceiling in the painted room is the highlight but then so are the door knobs! Don't miss this sublime building if you are in London...but be grateful the Luftwaffe did between 1939 and 1945.

The organized tour covers history of the family, house and art. A stunning 90 min experience. Easily the best preserved 18th century house in London open to the public.

Rather disappointing as there is little to see and one cannot enter. I was shooed away by a policeman and even prevented from taking a photograph from outside. This is the "Senior" of the Royal Palaces, nearly 500 years old. Built on the site of a leper colony for women. Charles I spent the last night of his life her before being beheaded. George III was the first Monarch to insist on moving (by purchasing Buckingham Palace and Queen Victoria finally left in 1837.

The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Memorial, is a memorial to King George VI and his consort, Queen Elizabeth. This was completed in 2009, the memorial incorporates an earlier, Grade II-listed statue of George VI by William McMillan. This was unveiled by his daughter Queen Elizabeth II in 1955. This memorial which has been reconfigured, includes a statue of the Queen Mother by Philip Jackson, a relief sculpture by Paul Day an architectural setting by Donald Buttress and Donald Insall, was unveiled by Elizabeth II in 2009. This is a marvellous monument very well sculpted in to the landscape and maintained by the Royal Parks and English Heritage and is a Grade II listed structure. Magnificent.
