Secondary Glazing for Listed Buildings South Kensington
A building listed under the law is protected and Listed Building Permission may need to be obtained before any modifications can be made. Not all repairs will require consent. Please get in touch with your local authority and make enquiries as to whether you need permission to install secondary glazing.
Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) South Kensington
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows South Kensington
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out South Kensington
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing South Kensington
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

We had suck a lovely time here. The boys absolutely loved the space section! Paid for tickets for the Res Arrows simulator which was really fun. We should have bought tickets for the wonder lab. Interactive experiences galore but I wasn’t sure so didn’t pay the extra. Will definitely do this the next time we visit. Lots of toilets available and a nice cafe where we bought milkshakes. A little in the pricey side at 5 pounds but delicious and I guess fairly typical for London prices. A great day out

The Science Museum is a fascinating place to visit. There's plenty to suit all ages, including a lot of interactive things and such a wide variety of topics from space, to medicine, and the history of technology in the home. We had to book a time slot and, sadly, the earliest one available was after 3pm, which meant that we couldn't see everything. You could easily spend the entire day here. I can't wait to go back again.

The science museum is great! There are exhibits on math, health, computers and so much more. The exhibits are well laid out with lots of open space. There was a small piece on covid-19 which is quite interesting. I particularly found the section on the development of computers and GPS to be fascinating. Everything was easy to understand and engaging.

Lovely place and highly educative. You can easily spend few days inside if you're a museum lover. Red zone is a must explaining volcanoes and earthquakes, earth's crust, human evolution should not be missed. Better to give the dinosaur exhibit a miss if busy. Wildlife garden is a definite miss. The new block - Darwin Centre's Cocoon, where there were more innovative and technologically advanced exhibits, was surprisingly quiet.

Very interesting and educational museum. The museum offers great insight into the nature and history of our world. On top of this, it highlighted issues negatively impacting our world and offered methods to fix. It was free entry, but donations were welcomed. Definitely worth a visit.

If you want to have a piece of history than one definitely should visit this museum while in London. It's a BIG one and need some good amount of time to explore. It has got several divisions per your interest. You want to know about space, human evolution, earth, and what not!! You will get all the information here. Kids are going to love it and at the same time the adults would also find it fascinating. A must visit place!!!

Very impressive but has fencing around due to falling masonry. No sign of repair yet after 9 months. They are now putting a footpath diagonal across the grass. Why? SURELY WE NEED MORE GRASS NOT LESS

Ice rink is finally up and running again this year. The place is the most beautiful in London in a great location no doubt about it. Rink is on a medium size but good for casual skate or a fun activity. Rental Skates themselves are very painful, equivalent to a vice on your feet due to zero padding inside the plastic shells. These might be older than the kids skating on the ice rink and one of the biggest problems here in London. Blades are not very sharp but they do their job just fine. I had no issues. Price is steep but very common for London. I enjoyed skating here despite the downsides, one visit is all you need, wouldn’t recommend making this a regular skating spot. Best time to go is in the first couple of sessions as there wont be as many people. During my skate I had around 30 people on ice which allowed me to have some fun and not worry about bumping into other people. Plenty of space for falling kids as well.

Really recommended even if it was a bit too crowded but the atmosphere is incredibly magic. Book your tickets online so you can directly collect your skates and skip the ticket line. Take time go go there a bit earlier and enjoy a mug of good spiced mulled wine at the bar with a terrace facing directly the ice rink

Amazing space where to learn about nature and the spectacular world we live in. The Darwin Centre is beyond amazing. T Rex room is divine. Everything is well organised, staff are super friendly and helpful. It is a real treat to come over and you learn something new every time you spend time in this great space. Thank you!
