Secondary Glazing for Listed Buildings Mayfair
A building listed under the law is protected and Listed Building Permission may need to be obtained before any modifications can be made. Not all repairs will require consent. Please get in touch with your local authority and make enquiries as to whether you need permission to install secondary glazing.
Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) Mayfair
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows Mayfair
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out Mayfair
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing Mayfair
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

You can see four dates carved in four smaller pillars around the statue: 1932, 1936, 1940 and 1944 Remembering the years of the four Presidential elections that he won. It was unveiled by Mrs Franklin Delano Roosevelt in a ceremony attended by the king George VI. The Memorial shows Roosevelt standing with a stick.

Excellent small museum. Great if you like science but also general interest. Small cafe which I didn't try. Really good displays. Free but take donations. Worth a visit!

This is a little gem. It may be small, but it is well worthwhile visiting if you have an hour or two spare. Lots of interesting items on display; Faraday's lab exists in the same location that it used to and lots of his equipment and apparatus is available to see. First electromagnets, batteries, specialised glasswork. Many other famous scientists are talked about - pop in, you won't be disappointed.

New cafe does excellent coffee, and the peaceful location just steps from the hustle make it an excellent escape. Definitely will be returning. Yuri Suzuki's sculpture is icing on the cake. Plenty of space for kids to run around a bit in safety. Stair access only.

Awesome quiet retreat just off Oxford street. Nice clean benches with flower beds. Very cool art installation celebrating social interactions post lockdown in a fun playground style.

I have a great fondness for this odd raised park. It's great to escape here from the roar of Oxford Street, especially on a summer evening

What a fantastic experience! It's a wonderful step back in time to see the flats that Handle and Hendrix's lived in. The team have done a wonderful job or restoring it and the accuracy of Hendrix's bedroom is superb. They are closing in September to refurbish further and not reopening until 2023 so go before they close if you can! It's definitely worth the £10 entry fee. The staff are wonderful, friendly and very knowledgeable too.

A great visit. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. A small museum with two very different themes due to the folk who lived here. Well worth a visit.
