Secondary Glazing for Listed Buildings King’s Cross
A building listed under the law is protected and Listed Building Permission may need to be obtained before any modifications can be made. Not all repairs will require consent. Please get in touch with your local authority and make enquiries as to whether you need permission to install secondary glazing.
Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) King’s Cross
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows King’s Cross
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out King’s Cross
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing King’s Cross
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

Lovely green space in Kings Cross, with nice seating and a coffee shop. We met a lady that said she's there on Sundays helping the kids identify wildlife in the water (I'm not sure how many weeks she'll be there for.).My son really loved it. So close to the coal drop really lovely areas for families.

Was a student intern at the nature reserve back in 2010-11. Was so happy seeing it open again with a brand-new visitor centre and café. Still my favourite place to visit too!

Reopened after a long, long break. The new bridge over canal takes away a bit of the isolated/secret feel of the place, but much easier access for everyone now. The cafe underestimated the pent up demand and ran out of various things last Sunday.

I had a nice time at the London Canal Museum, it was very interesting, and I had a nice intro to the Ice Trade (who knew!) given by Tony, thank you. I would definitely recommend this museum for anyone interested in the Industrial Revolution and how transport was 2-300 years ago. its amazing to think how quickly it has developed really. Thank you and keep up the good work!

This is my sort of museum, as I am not an expert at art, so this the kind of museum I visit. I've been here a while ago, but still want to give my feedback on this place, such an interesting museum where I could learn a bit of history of London canal. The place is not huge, but one can learn a great deal of history of British canals. I really had a good time.

Such an interesting building - part of the rich history that the museum itself describes, with really informative exhibits. Loved seeing the canal tractor and the ribbon and lace plates collected by barge people.

On the Regents Canal at the back of both Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations this is an ideal place to sit and enjoy a sunny day of you have time to kill before the departure of your train, or if you have time to kill for any other reason. Plenty of seating and a very peaceful place slap bang in the middle of central London. You wouldn't know that Euston Road is only a stone's throw away. Lovely place and well worth a visit.

Really nice area, and I heard on the grapevine its called 'google square' - lots of bars, food, cafes and feels very cosmopolitan (does that make me sound old?!). Nice bit of a water feature which reminds me of millennium square in Bristol - beaut!

So many offices! This place is deceptively quite at the weekends though and those hidden restaurants become easily accessible. Worth a visit if you're in the area...

Improving. Fabulous architecture. A clean and functional station with good facilities. But, where are the seats? Limited places to sit down on either level. Not something that would be difficult to put right. Update from September 2021. Visited this station for first time in a year. New seating (with places to put your coffee) has been added. It won’t be clear if these are sufficient until the station is operating at full capacity. But definitely an improvement. Have increased rating from three stars to four stars.

Sure this station changes every time I visit, which is sadly not enough. Great range of shops and food choices, albeit paying the travel premium expected. Easy to locate information around departing and arriving services, and well signposted to find the relevant platforms

These Gardens are full of people that don't live there, so they don't respect it, even though they come there specifically with their kids to be even more socially dysfunctional than we're used to in the UK there. The sandpit is nice, if only people walking dogs early in the morning or late at night don't let their dogs poo in there, which is often, so here's hoping no one gets scepesima. Obviously having cameras there is pointless if residents from elsewhere in these developments allow their dogs to foul the sandpit all the time. Looking down at it now, no one is wearing masks or observing social distancing either while they awkwardly pretend that everyone else does not exist. People from outside come in for hours and hours to kill time, it must be great for them, being glued to their phones. The gate is now broken and left open all the time, even by the security, so your unsupervised kids can run out into the road at will. At night you get teenagers come in to take laughing gas and strew the bottles all over the park. Mums sit in that tower with their shopping for a break, because they don't live there and have no shame. Students from Central St Martin's going home drunk can't resist the swings either. A nice park and idea ruined by users from outside and a lack of enforcement, despite being made to pay for it from rents.

The KX visitors centre is small but perfectly formed. A quiet space to learn about whats on in the area, with helpful staff. There is a model of the area showing some future projects, and its updated as they are completed. Tours of the area tend to start from here. Located on Stable Street, by Lewis Cubit Square, around the left hand side of Granary Square.

This visitor centre is more spacious than the one at Victoria station. I had a big order of travel cards and was refused to be serviced at Victoria visitor centre so I went to St Pancras. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Specail thanks to Rene, the visitor advisor for his patience and help.

It is a small church, very beautiful and particular, in the way it was built in its time, features that makes it one of the oldest Christian places of worship in England. As the times evolved, it was restructured many times, bat its change and expansion of its structure, took place in the Victorian historical period.Tourists just arrived on the place , you can immediately notice that the sacristy of this church is very large, compared to the size of the entire arra. In this review of mine,I considered it right to point out, throughout the age, famous and illustrious people of England. Unfortunately,it’s a church that more than once is not mentioned among the recommended tourist destinations and, in this regard I want to add that I saw it and could admire for a pure and lucky case.I recommend it because it’s a beautiful and above all very interesting place from the historical point of view.

Magic indeed. What a great store to visit in King cross station. Fans of Harry Potter must visit spot in London. Very nice and helpful crew, a lot of stuff to see and choice from. Amazing atmosphere around plus the actual place of Harry Potter movie was filmed. You can do a pic for free with your phone and buy a wand. The shop itself seems for me a little beet expansive, but not every day you fill like you in movie. This is the place you actually don't want to live. Very recommended to visit and enjoy.

We took our 10 year old who is a huge fan . The staff were great and really welcoming and immediately offered to take a professional picture which was nice of our daughter at the 9 3/4 platform. The shop was nicely set out and was our daughters absolute dream. The guy that was demonstrating the wands in the shop had so much enthusiasm and really had her engaged . He was using a wand book ( one of many so we were told ) he was able to help us identify which book my daughter wanted and thanks to his help we have now tracked said book down for a future Xmas present. ( sadly out of stock in store ). We went home with a very happy daughter . Thank you for a great visit.

Very nice but not cheap shop, loads of stuff marked as different houses for good gifting. If you're a fan it is worth the experience and you can take your own pics with the trolley in the wall outside. Happy friendly staff too 😀
