Secondary Glazing for Listed Buildings Kensington
A building listed under the law is protected and Listed Building Permission may need to be obtained before any modifications can be made. Not all repairs will require consent. Please get in touch with your local authority and make enquiries as to whether you need permission to install secondary glazing.
Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) Kensington
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows Kensington
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out Kensington
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing Kensington
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

Great Victorian house, it shows how the middle classes in the UK lived in that period. Lots of interesting things to see and learn.

Beautiful church near Kensington Palace on the High Street. The gardens, although small, are charming. The staff at the church is also polite and helpful

Beautiful church, a little cathedral in the heart of London. Excellent sound and the Messiah was, as usual, a very emotive concert. Thank you to the organisers for keeping the agenda going and make the event feel so Covid safe.

Visited Kensington today and chanced upon Japan House. Having been to Japan in 2019 we were interested to see what was on display. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Downstairs there was a free exhibition about the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, which we really enjoyed. We found the main collection on the ground floor very interesting, and were happy to browse for quite some time. The items available for purchase include books, origami, ceramics, art, jewellery, kitchen knives, eating utensils, and clothing. Upstairs there is a restaurant, which we didn’t explore. Overall, very highly recommended, especially if you’re interested in Japanese objects and culture.

Beautiful building with a lovely shop and great exhibits. It’s a small exhibition space but the exhibitions are very well curated to make the most of the space and it’s free! The staff are so friendly and enthusiastic and very informative. I recommend popping into the library while you’re there which is usually themed with very well selected titles - I could spend all day in the tiny library alone pouring over the books! The facilities are always clean and the COVID measures are very good. Definitely recommended!

Wow, words cannot describe my visit. I found it so emotional to see all the incredible pictures of Freddie Mercury that have over the years meant everything to me. To actually see the photos, is out of this world. By far the best shots of Freddie Mercury ever taken, so intimate and special. I was extremely fortunate to meet the Worlds greatest photographer. Richard Young. The most amazing down to earth gentleman you could ever meet. My absolute hero.such a wonderful man, made me feel incredibly welcome. An absolutely gorgeous man X Bless you Richard Young, one of the best days in my life, I can't explain how much it means X Thank you, these pictures are so important in my life and and my journey. The gallery is a jewel in the crown.

Some amazing photos. Would usually expect to pay to see this kind of work. If you're in London you have to check this place out. All the photos here, of greats like Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Princess Diana and pretty much anyone else you can think of, all these photos are exclusive. The photographer is always around to sign books and speak to visitors too.
