Secondary Glazing for Listed Buildings Elephant and Castle
A building listed under the law is protected and Listed Building Permission may need to be obtained before any modifications can be made. Not all repairs will require consent. Please get in touch with your local authority and make enquiries as to whether you need permission to install secondary glazing.
Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) Elephant and Castle
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows Elephant and Castle
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out Elephant and Castle
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing Elephant and Castle
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

Wasn't expecting much (or it to be open) but pleasantly surprised with this park. Sand area, couple of hammocks, beaches all around, slide, water pumps, fountains and little streams. Great way to spend an afternoon with the kids. Sights and restaurants all around, including Four Hundred Rabbits (great pizza place) overlooking the water park. There's also a grass area for picnicking. Got here with 343, alighting at Elephant Park and easy to find in foot. Well-connected. Wasn't too busy when we went, but it wasn't boiling hot and we got there after 4pm. Security personnel around and CCTV - due to it being a public place I suppose. Didn't need the toilets but apparently some nearby. We'd go again. Enjoy!!

Very nice play area for little ones but with construction work still going on bit noisy along with kids enjoying them self's. Hope to be bit better next year when hopefully shops and construction work will be finished.

Nice park area by Elephant & Castle Station. Some nice seating areas, a water play area for children which is great during the warmer weather. Nice to have a green, clean area in the centre of London.

Fantastic rehearsal space that is incredibly multi purpose. We used the upstairs room to devise some choreography and could comfortably rehearse socially distanced without feeling boxed in, and with lots of air flow. So many different rooms to choose from and easy to access from Waterloo or Elephant and Castle.

Really fantastic space with a variety of small and large spaces. We shot three short films in the space creating three distinctly different sets in one day. The large spaces are perfect for socially distant workshops and rehearsal too. Will be going there again and again. And actually will be there for a reading next week.

This is a fantastic, characterful and versatile rehearsal/studio space. So easy to get to - right by Elephant and Castle tube. Shot a music video here - so many great backdrops and spaces to make use of! 10/10 would recommend.

Food is amazing!!! Much better than what I’d expect from a normal pub. Went on a Saturday night and it’s was surprisingly not busy. Cool music as well. It’s a shame as we only first tried it after a year living at elephant castle, will visit more!

Popped in here for a quick cider with my friend, it was uncanny and strange to be able to go straight to the bar and order but also a welcome relief. Although the place itself is a bit dank and dark. It needs a new lease of life. Although I do like the interesting style of the roofing, almost looks like upside down sinks which gives the place some intrigue. I feel like it has a lot of potential and plenty of space to really bring the atmosphere up to another level.
