Secondary Glazing for Listed Buildings Barbican
A building listed under the law is protected and Listed Building Permission may need to be obtained before any modifications can be made. Not all repairs will require consent. Please get in touch with your local authority and make enquiries as to whether you need permission to install secondary glazing.
Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) Barbican
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows Barbican
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out Barbican
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing Barbican
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

Anything Goes - great entertainment, Reno is so talented, how old is she now? Great to be back but I'm still not totally happy with so many people without any distancing or masking and seated close together but maybe that's just me. When there's a production which attracts the majority of wrinklies to a matinee the queue for female toilets is unacceptably long.

Love this space! Great theatre, dance, music and art shows. And the building is awesome architecturally and has so many spaces to get lost in! Plus it has a lovely outside area. An oasis.

Is a great museum with a different content. Thought for families and children it takes you in a thorough trip of London's history. The Roman area is amazing with recreations of the inside of homes and shops. From there to Victorian London with its shops and alleys is a really enjoyable place to go. And as many museums in London is completely free.

A brilliant museum, very well put together with a huge range of very interesting exhibits all with an explanation as to what & why they are there. The space is at a premium and it can get a bit tight walking round. However it is extremely well run and the many varied talks held amongst the exhibits themselves are very informative. Thank you to all the guides and backroom staff that made this visit so worthwhile. Also a big thank you to the companies that donate to such a great museum.

Great to be back at the Barbican if a little more quiet than usual. Exhibitions always a high standard welcoming new talents. Social Distancing in place felt safe so definitely worth getting out and visiting.

My first visit to this cinema was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean and in a nice condition. The cinema was a reasonable size and the seats were very comfortable with ample leg room. The screen was a good size for the room and the quality was what you expect for a cinema. Like a normal cinema there was around 25 minutes of adverts before the film.

The baby cinema experience was really great! They have the top films on and cater very well to parents, even offering nappies if you run out. Very easy to get to from Liverpool station too, and a nice cafe in the main Barbican building for after.

Cinema itself was great but bad smell of fried food or similar in the auditorium possibly through their air con? Anyway, apart from that nice intimate surroundings lots of staff on hand to assist, very welcoming.

My partner and I are very happy with the service Mitchell provided us. We were able to begin the lease earlier than expected due to his efficient and swift service. Mitchell and Chris made the renting process extremely stress-free as it was our first time renting in London, and they were more than accommodating with our payment method. If we ever need to rent another property in London it will definitely be with the Frank Harris team.

I had a very good experience with Frank Harris. Mitchell Max helped me get an amazing flat, he is very professional, kind and quick to answer all my questions. From the viewing onwards, everything moved very swiftly and Mitchell helped me with all the formalities. I have also been in contact with Charlotte throughout the renting process and she was also very nice and quick to answer my emails.
