Secondary Glazing for Listed Buildings Aldwych
A building listed under the law is protected and Listed Building Permission may need to be obtained before any modifications can be made. Not all repairs will require consent. Please get in touch with your local authority and make enquiries as to whether you need permission to install secondary glazing.
Sash Windows (Vertical sliding) Aldwych
Sash windows, also known as “Vertical sliding windows”, are the most popular window type. Secondary glazing sash windows are also very popular.
Our sash windows consist of two panels, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are counter balanced with pre-tensioned springs that hold the panels’ weight. The window can be opened in any direction and the panels can be operated easily.
Horizontal Sliding Windows Aldwych
Horizontal sliding windows, which can be made side to side, are the most versatile style. They can be manufactured with either 2, 3, or 4 sliding panels. This type of secondary glazing matches perfectly with Crittal windows. Individual sliding panels can slide effortlessly, providing unimpeded access to external windows.
All of our windows sections are made from aluminium and powder-coated white. You can customize frames to match your decor with a different colour or finish.
Fixed Lift Out Aldwych
Fixed lift out windows are an alternative to screw-fixed units. They have a removable glass panel that can be lifted from the master frame and accessed through the external windows.
This type of window is used for external windows that are rarely used, or in offices with air conditioning where cleaning between windows is necessary.
Casement (Hinged) Secondary Glazing Aldwych
Our hinged (casement) windows can be side- or top-hung. This design allows easy access to outer windows or doors.
This type of window is popular in hospitals, surgery rooms, and laboratories because it has minimal dust ledges, tight seals, and is easy to clean.

Amazing museum! I love the Tube and so I was very interested in the history of it. The displays are very good and has amazing facts. They have a train simulator on the ground floor, but it takes a long time to do, so the queue can be quite big. Would recommend. Also the shop is great, where you can by pillows with the seat cover patterns and other souvenirs.

Fun place to go for both adults and children. The museum's collection on the transport system is fascinating, lots of interesting facts to read. There are also themed play areas for the little ones. My 20 months old son had a great time exploring. You can bring your own food and sit in the dedicated areas to have lunch inside - very handy for those who have children! It is also clean inside, you can see the staff regularly wiping the surfaces. If you are looking for a day out especially with kids, I certainly recommend the London Transport Museum.

Amazing place. Had fun exploring the museum. Hygienic and polite staff. My lil one had great time. He loved the idea of driving his bus..A must visit place to learn about more than a century old transportation. You won't be disappointed. 1 less star for the food. Not that great.

Dear Google- you might want to review your label of “Historic Roman baths from the 1830s.” I’m pretty sure they’d cleared off by then. 🤦♂️ Otherwise, worth a visit.

Not to be confused with the city of Bath and the famous Roman Baths and Museum found there, this is a minor historic attraction known as the Roman Bath on Strand Lane. It is difficult to find and almost impossible to visit, requiring advance appointment for Wednesday afternoon visits from mid April to mid October only. Roman Bath is located on the small Strand Lane, not far from the old Norfolk Hotel. While it was at one time touted as having originated during the Roman period, it is now believed to only be a few centuries old, likely from the Tudor period. As such, it is not really a Roman Bath and should perhaps is called a Roman style bath instead. There is a small National Trust sign marking the location of the Roman Bath but it is easy to miss if you are not paying attention. Considering the limited visitation times and fact that it isn't really from the Roman period, makes it difficult to recommend for most visitors to London. We'd give it a pass and focus your efforts on more interesting attractions in this area of the city.

Majestic venue, living up to its billing as one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world. The spectacular, visually overwhelming staging of Mozart's The Magic Flute perfectly combined with the frankly inspired vocal performances to stir emotions and imagination alike. Bravo indeed!

This was my first time inside having admired the building from the outside for 20 years! Beautiful architecture and features. Amazing sound. Oh yeah, and the opera bit was pretty awesome too 😀

Incredible venue - amazing performances and interesting memorabilia inside. Lots of costumes, posters etc from past performances. Be aware though - the upper seats are very, very high up there. Fine for an opera, but if you're going for something you want to see the stage, pick something closer.

Watched Tina here. Fantastic show and nice theatre. Very cool. When we went the dress circle wasn't too full. Can imagine it may be a bit cramped when it is. Good bar services. Could order on an app before hand to save time.

Went to see the show "Tina" last night. What a great evening! Tremendous singing and dancing. Story very well put together with well chosen songs to fit in with the story. Highly emotional, highs and lows, really high energy, especially second half with a wow finish!

We went to see "Tina the Musical" we got a box at an accessible PRICE.. It was a restricted view so you couldn't see anything of the show on left hand side we had to lean forward. But we were aware. (But it was still a brilliant performance).. The staff where very attentive and so helpful. I had step free access where I didn't have to queue. But all in all it was a lovely experience. Loved it!!!!!!
